List Creation

We will create your list for you, and help you collect emails to get you started. When creating a list, the list has to be in this format:

[companyname]-[identifier]@list.[yoursite.com]

For example:

andrewlehmandesign-news@list.andrewlehman.com

You will write to this address and then approve your post to have it sent to your customers. (We keep your list moderated so that others cannot post to your list.) Your list name will be visible to your customers in the CC: field of your email. (The To: field will be their name and email, and the From: email will be the email of your choice.) So while your list name is not particularly important, you cannot change it and it will be visible to customers, so do put some thought into your list name.

Your [companyname] should be easy. For [identifier], choose a word that describes the nature of your list. Here are some words our clients have used: news, specials, promotions, info, daily, broadcast, blast, and toylovers.
